Mobile - Find Company/Property

In the mobile user interface, you can find companies and properties. These functions operate in the same manner as they do in the full browser interface, except where differences are noted.

ClosedFind Company

The Find Company page allows you to locate a company in the system. This function is commonly used to locate a contractor or vendor if needed to help complete a work request.

The differences between the mobile Find Company function and the full browser function are:

  • You can only search by company name, category, vendor flag, minority flag, and preferred vendor flag. The full browser function provides a broader set of search criteria.

  • The results are displayed as static text, listing only the company name, address, and telephone number. The full browser function displays the result companies as clickable links where you can obtain more information about the companies and edit them if you have the proper security rights.

To find a company:

  1. On the Start Page, click Find Company.

    The Find Company page opens.

  2. Specify values to define your search criteria.

  3. Click FIND.

    The results are displayed.

ClosedFind Property

The Find Property page allows you to locate a property in the system. This function is commonly used to obtain information about a property, such as its address.

The differences between the mobile Find Company function and the full browser function are:

  • You cannot search by building code, lease ID, or status.

  • Only active properties are returned.

  • When viewing details of the located properties, you cannot view property space details, user defined fields, documents, or other options.

To find a property:

  1. On the Start Page, click Find Property.

    The Find Property page opens.

  2. Specify values to define your search criteria.

  3. Click FIND.

    The results are displayed.

  4. To view more information about the property, click the property name link.
